International Yoga Therapy Training
This training is about learning to apply the principles and practice of yoga as a one to one therapy. It will teach you how to diagnose a client and work using different treatment methods. You learn to work holistically with the different body systems. This training is open for people with various professional and educational backgrounds who are interested in expanding their capacity to work with yoga therapeutically.
The yoga therapy training is for anyone who wants to:
• become a certified yoga therapist
• expand their existing therapeutic knowledge and skills
• wishes to learn the science of Kundalini Yoga
Certification
The course is recognized by IAYT - International Association of Yoga Therapists.

Themes
Module 1
chakra’s, meridians, energetic bodies, Marma / acupressure for removing energy blockages, dynamic body exercises and yoga postures to promote a healing process.
Module 2
life cycles, numerology, geometry, color theory, healing, meditation techniques against psychosomatic disorders, techniques for breaking negative patterns, breathing techniques for vitality and awareness
Module 3
healing methodology of the Rishis and Shamans, yogic nutrition and dietary advice for a healthy and vital body, use of household herbs to support body processes.

Teachers:
Guru Dharam Singh
In 1980 Guru Dharam developed a system of yoga therapy based on the science of Kundalini Yoga. He is internationally known as a health practioner, healer and Kundalini Yoga teacher. Guru Dharam developed the curriculum of this training in cooperation with Göran Boll to offer a conscious and alternative supplement to Western medical practice.
Goran Boll
Göran is the founder of IMY Institute for Medical Yoga in Stockholm. He currently focuses on carrying out various scientific studies on the effectiveness of yoga. He does this in collaboration with the Karolinska Institute, Swedish hospitals and universities.
Siridharma Singh / Joost van Dijk
Joost is the Managing Director of Yoga Lifestyle Studio in Amsterdam. In addition to his regular yoga classes he developed yoga therapy, and organizes the International Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training. Currently he is negotiating with insurance agencies on the inclusion of yoga therapy in the policy.
